of these presents agreed upon and approved by His Grace the
Archbishop of Canterbury a copy whereof is set forth in the
Schedule hereunto annexed or hereunder written. AND the said
Vincent John Stanton doth hereby for himself his heirs execu-
tors and administrators covenant with the said Lord Bishop and
his successors that notwithstanding any act deed matter or
thing by the said Vincent John Stanton made or done or knowing-
ly permitted or suffered he the said Vincent John Stanton now
hath power to grant release and convey the aforesaid premises
unto and to the use of the said Lord Bishop and his successors
free from incumbrances, and also that the said Vincent John
Stanton and his heirs and all other persons lawfully or equit-
ably claiming through under or in trust for him will at all
times at the costs of the said Lord Bishop and his successors
do and execute all such acts deeds and assurances for further
and better assuring the said premises to the use of the said
Lord Bishop and his successors as by him or them shall be
reasonably required IN WITNESS whe re of the said parties to
these presents have hereunto set their hands and seals the
day and year first above written.

STATUTES of the Missionary Institution at Hong Kong,
to be called and known as Saint Paul's College.
A Missionary College having been founded at Victoria
in the Island of Hong Kong principally by the pious liberality
of a "Brother and Sister" and by a Grant from the Society for
promoting Christian Knowledge aided by sums from various
individual donors the following Statutes have received the
sanction of His Grace the Archbishop of Canterbury for the
general government and internal regulation of the Institution.
